This week, our team proudly completed a detailed and rewarding flooring project in Altona Meadows, supplying and installing herringbone engineered timber, colour Sorrento, across a 74 sqm area.
Before laying the boards, we carried out floor levelling over existing tiles to prepare a strong and even base. The job took four full days, with two of our skilled installers on-site each day.
This project wasn’t without its challenges. We helped the homeowner move furniture, which made the work a bit more physically demanding. The layout of the home also featured a long, narrow entry and corridor, requiring precise angle cutting along tight edges — not easy, especially with herringbone! On top of that, we also installed flooring in confined spaces like the toilet and laundry, which demanded extra attention to detail and care.
Despite the hard work, we’re happy to report that everything was completed successfully and to a high standard. We’d also like to thank the homeowner, who paid in full before we even started. They trusted us with the job, and we made sure to deliver a result that exceeded expectations — even after offering them a 10% discount.
